Manchester based The Words have had a whirlwind 18 months supporting some of the biggest acts on the planet, completing a three week tour of Austria and promoting the release of their debut album 'Truth & Faith'. The Words were hand selected by Mercedes-Benz as one of only 3 acts to play at their 125th birthday party alongside music giants Placebo & 30 Seconds to Mars in August 2011 for the first (and we're told last) ever gig in Stuttgart City Centre, playing a 30 minute set in front of over 35,000 fans. Since then the band have featured many times on UK national radio on stations including Kerrang and BBC 6 Music, with Tom Robinson a confirmed fan of the band. In May 2012 The Words built on their European fan base with their first overseas tour, playing a series of high profile events throughout Austria including the Ober Sankt Veiter Gratzlfest in Vienna city centre.
