Musician/Singer/Songwriter I’m hard at work on my first solo, full-length album. This project is a first in many ways, most significantly because it’s the first music I’ve released since tragically losing my wife and son in 2014. Six years in the making, this project is about holding onto hope - even when you can’t see the way through. I started learning the piano when I was in first grade but haven't played much over the past two years because I was busy playing video games. ;) But now, I am back to learning and have the coolest and most awesome teacher is the world- Guitar Prasanna!. Veena is an ancient musical string instrument from the Indian Subcontinent. She started learning to play Veena at the age of ten and honed her musical skills over many years of training under the tutelage of eminent teachers. Her performances, both as a solo musician and as a member of musical ensembles, have placed her on prestigious platforms in several Indian states and international locations. Now, with her home in Canada, she is giving solo performances, collaborating with varied musicians to create music. She is influenced by western classical, fusion, Contemporary, jazz, pop and Arabic music. It can be seen reflecting in her performances, music and compositions.
