I really like the idea of having a DB to lookup the guitar tuning of any given song, or picking a tuning and then listing all songs/albums where it is used.

Right now it seems like there are a lot of duplicates and badly entered data in the DB, e.g. I wanted to look up some Drop A songs, of which there currently are not many:

Even here one already can see, that the users entering the data did barely care about it. There are duplicates, some albums are not entered at all or filled with crap.

Have you considered not letting the user just enter random stuff into the form and instead linking data to something like the Musicbrainz database?

e.g. Slipknots Psychosocial could be linked to https://musicbrainz.org/recording/99eafe91-a43c-4adc-b3ea-8b6f8e0e4966

This would have the nice benefit that you could extend your DB to search not only by tuning but also stuff like the release year and genre by fetching that data from musicbrainz.
