Video for how to read complex chord diagrams

I was wondering if there's a video on how to read all the individual chord diagrams within each tuning. I know how to read all basic chord diagrams where the strings and fret locations to be played are marked on the fretboard (and ones not to be played are marked with an "X"), but when I'm using GTDB, the chords are displayed as a multitude of green notes along the fretboard and I'm not understanding how to actually play that chord in the specified tuning. Hopefully, that makes some sense.
