Michael McClintock stands up for his performance of the Guitar and the Cuban Tres (native Cuban guitar), with a classical technique enriched by different styles of music, as a result of his studies and national and international experiences.
From classical guitar performance to Flamenco, Jazz, Brazilian rhythms, and lately Cuban styles of music, his music transports us through a very enjoyable journey of different flavors, enamoring us with his passionate touch of the strings.
Michael is also the Founder/Director of Cubanisms. The band has received great compliments for its discography in Cuba, Colombia, and the USA.
Besides his solo career and his band Cubanisms, Michael is part of other music projects:
Ensemble Iberica, dedicated to the music of Iberia (Spain and Portugal) and the colonial Americas
Slim Hanson and the Poor Choices, a Honky tonk country and western band
F/M Duo, a guitar duo.
Michael has also been a passionate Guitar and Cuban Tres teacher for many years.
