χαίρετε! Welcome to my Ancient Greek language & lyre channel! For the last few years, I’ve been learning both the Ancient Greek lyre and language. Here you’ll find videos of my progress speaking the language, live videos playing the lyre and tracks from my albums of lyre meditation. Music helps to immerse ourselves in a culture or time period and the relaxing sounds of the lyre have been key to my focus learning the language, so these two things are deeply entwined for me. I hope to share the wonders of the journey with you all and inspire others to join me!
χαίρετε, πάντες! ἀσπάζομαι ὑμᾶς τῷ ἔμῳ σωλῆνι! τὸ ὄνομά μοι Λέανδρός ἐστιν καὶ μανθάνω καὶ τὴν ἀρχαὶαν ἑλληνικὴν γλῶσσαν λαλεῖν καὶ τὴν ἀρχαίαν λύραν παίζειν! ἐνταῦθα οὖν δύνανται ἀκούειν τὴν ἔμην μουσικήν τε καὶ ἀσκεῖν ἀκούων ἑλληνιστὶ μετὰ ἐμου! εἰς αὖθις!
