In today’s modern age the essence & necessity of upgraded modern technology can be perceived in every sphere of life, especially in the field of music and audio recordings. It is baffling to know that listening to the earliest recordings of classical music right from the Wax Cylinders, Gramophone Shellacs (78 RPMs), Vinyl LPs & EPs, Spool Tapes & Cassette unless one has the required player is a near impossibility. A lot of these rare recordings which captures the voices of our ancestors & maestros of yesteryear's are depleting at an alarmingly rapid rate. Digitization of these records & preservation of these vintage music for posterity and making them easily and electronically available to musicians, scholars, researchers, students & music enthusiast is the need of the hour.
