Vedanth Bharadwaj is a multi faceted musician and music composer who dabbles in several genres of music ranging from Indian Classical to Blues.
He composes music for films, advertisements, theatre and dance productions.
Vedanth is known for singing songs of mystic saint poets form the Bhakti and Sufi traditions. He has performed live at several music festivals at prestigious venues, such as the Playhouse Theatre Company, Kalaa Utsavam Singapore, Malwa Kabir Yatra, Mumbai Kabir Festival, Rajasthan Kabir Yatra, Ladakh Music Confluence among others.
Vedanth has formally learnt Carnatic, Hindustani and Western classical music and, currently, is under the tutelage of Sri Ramamoorthy Rao.
He is the director of the Chennai Children's Choir, a choir of children from economically challenged backgrounds, who represented India at the Serenade Chorale Festival and sang at the prestigious Kennedy Centre in Washington DC.
