When I learned to play guitar I was blessed to have people around me that taught me chords and let me play with them. Theory came later. I have run across so many discouraged fledgling guitarists who have been burned out on theory when all they wanted to do was play a few songs they liked.
I'll start by sharing the basics where a person can then start playing and practicing. After that I will get into the theory of the music.
