A comprehensive look at music theory and how it relates to the guitar and other instruments. How to use music theory in the song writing process. Also, I'll cover how music theory can be transported from one instrument to another. I'll teach you how rhythm works and how to be mindful of it when song writing as well. Finally, if you are not interested in theory, I will be teaching you the guitar all the from how to tune it, to playing awesome rhythm guitar for any style, to playing fast shapes and licks to solo over whatever style music you're interested in.
My serial system; Ability level: B (beginner), I (intermediate), A (advanced). Subject Matter: G (guitar with minimal theory), MT (music theory), and P (performance or technique based). These letters will be followed by a number indicating which video in the series you are on. For example if the video is about a beginner music theory idea the title will be something like "Lame Title BMT 1."
