“phyX” is a solo project by Ophan‘s drummer Constantine Gentschev, accompanied by Ivan Ivanov from Velian as the lead vocalist. It was started in the summer of 2015. On the 29th of February the debut album “Higher Bodies” was released for free streaming via Youtube and digital copies on iTunes, Google Play etc. The music itself is a mixture between Pink Floyd, Meshuggah & The Faceless, but with strong melodic vocals and harmonies. There are also typical deathcore moments, typical black metal moments and more. The song Entropy, which represents chaos in our universe has an additional five guest vocals from various bands. All of the vocalists chose a part of the song and wrote their own lyrics for it, unaware of what the others had recorded or written.
