This is the official Youtube Channel of Mandolin Mithun Radhakrishna.
Mithun has been playing the Mandolin since the age of 10. Inspired and initiated to the instrument by the pioneer of Carnatic mandolin, Mandolin Srinivas, Mithun began performing at the age of 15. He has undergone rigorous training under late Vid Ganesh Kumar, Vid Sri Prasanna Kumar and renowned violinist Vid Sri TKV Ramanujacharyulu from Trichy with whom he is still learning. Mithun belongs to the Thyagaraja Guru Shisya Parampara. He has performed more than 50 concerts throughout India and the US under various platforms and is also the founding member of the Indian-Jazz band Frets r Black n White in New York City. After completing his studies in the U.S, he is currently working as an Assistant Professor at IIT-Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
