I play multiple stringed instruments and hand drums including guitar, bass, sitar, bouzouki, cigar box guitar, baglama saz, oud, morin khuur, banjo and the list goes on. Some of my hand drums include udu, cajon, tar, doumbek, idiopan, hand pan and a roland handsonic. I like to play a wide range of instrumental styles from metal to post punk and traditional classical styles of music. Thanks for stopping by and listening ;-)

College Of Knowledge Records is the artist-led label and studio representing the new sound of cinematic instrumental music in Melbourne, Australia. Run out of a 100 year-old brick share house in the inner-northern suburb of Coburg by the partnership of musician/DJs Lachlan Stuckey and Jethro Curtin, the College Of Knowledge roster is home to burgeoning instrumental bands Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo and The Pro-Teens. With a modus operandi built on an interpretation of the great soul label/studio operations from the ‘60s to now, College Of Knowledge is rooted in the sounds of cinematic soul and jazz funk. With an emphasis on a DIY mentality, the label’s releases are recorded live to tape; a methodology that not only echoes the sonic characteristics of the golden era of soul, but places greater emphasis on musicianship and the beauty of imperfection.
