Strum

Strum forwards

Strum the tuning, downwards, from the bottom string(lowest in frequency) to top.

Strum the tuning, upwards, in reverse order from the top string(highest in frequency) to lowest.

Stop Playing Note

Stop all playing tuner notes when in loop mode.

One note at a time

Only one note will play at a time when clicking single tuner buttons, all other buttons will be stopped.

Switch Tuning

Switch the current tuner to any tuning for the current page

Strum Speed

Change the speed at which the tuner strums. The default is fast for quick reference
Change to Super Slow to une your guitar quickly hands-free

Notes on Middle C

GTDB uses C5 as Middle C.
The lowest C on a piano according to GTDB is C1.

The ISO standard is C4.
This makes the lowest C on a piano C0.

Some keyboards (e.g., Yamaha) use C3.
This makes the lowest C on a piano C-1.

A note on Frequency:
The middle C on GTDB displays as C5, however, the frequency is around 261.63 Hz.

This is what middle C is supposed to be since the pitch standard was widely adopted in 1939.
